10% of all funeral sales to go to the charity of the senders' choice.
WHY?
An empty hearse is not a nice site and offers little comfort but you also want to help prevent what has happened to your loved one, from happening to anyone else..
So, we understand how you can be torn between asking for flowers or a donation for your loved one. Grieving is the toughest time you will ever face so these choices can be difficult. We want to offer you both.
About Flowers are happy to announce that as of today (7th October 2011) we will donate 10% of all funeral sales to a charity of the senders choice.
FAMILY FLOWERS
If you are the main flower buyer (i.e. the next of kin), we will be happy to pass on your wishes to all flower buyers of the funeral. Please come and see us with your wishes and we will do the rest.
A card will be placed on the flowers to say that "A charitable dontation has been made in the name of (the deceased)".
If you wish, we can put the following information about the deceased on this funeral blog.
Name of Deceased
Time and Date of Funeral
Wake Details
Flower Wishes (colours, favourite flower etc)
Charity Choice (who we will be donating to in the name of the deceased)
Family Wishes (what to wear at funeral, who is to buy flowers etc)
OTHER FLOWER BUYERS
Just tell us who you want us to send money to and we will do it.
A list of the total donations will be posted on the funeral blog at the time of donation (mainly at the end of each month).
If there is any other way that we can make things easier for you, please tell us. We will be only too happy to help.
