Remembering loved ones at Christmas

My Nan died over 11 years ago and every Christmas I still remember her for her roast potatoes, her chicken risotto, her love of TV, her vast amount of knowledge of the most random and varied information.

She died before I became a florist so she never seen any of my creations (even the hideous ones at the beginning when I was learning techniques), but I do have to show off every now and again and send her a really nice design for Christmas.

This is the Christmas one I did for her personally this year... Hope you like it.... and I hope she does too.

Happy Christmas Nan.... miss you xx

Giving that personal touch

Reflecting someones personality through sympathy flowers is a personal way of saying goodbye.  From gardening, to sports to everyday hobbies, there is always some way of showing how a person lived through floral design.

Below is a simple loose posy for a domino player from her domino team.  This design is a great example of how a design does not have to be a massive affair to be personal.

As usual, made with lots of love and care... xx
